Camille is having a quilt parade. She is having us quilters show our very first quilt and our most recently completed quilt. This is my first quilt, rail fence. I made this from a quilt class, my first quilt class about 20 years ago. I remember agonizing over picking out the fabrics. I don't really like my fabric choices and I'm not sure why I picked these fabrics, I think maybe it was the hearts. I never did quilt it but I keep it as a memento.
And, this is my most recently completed quilt. It's a wall hanging made with Aviary fabrics. The pattern I used is by Bunny Hill Designs, it's called Just Charming. It's very soft and pretty, I like how it turned out. Unlike the very first quilt, I will get this one quilted and then I'm thinking I will hang it on the wall in my sewing room. Great idea Camille and Carrie. It will be fun to see all the entries.

I have to tell you that I totally understand the "why did I pick that fabric?" quandry! Don't laugh but I have bought and used fabric just because a quilting friend has turned up her nose at something I'm looking at and said "you aren't really going to get that, are you?" :)

Both are wonderfull! Anything made out of Aviary is beautiful, but yours is especially beautiful. I think your rail fence looks great to. You should definitely finish it up and use it.
