Christmas in July - Day 29

Hello and thanks again for stopping by to see my Christmas in July. Today I'm showing you a very cute gift bag that I made last evening, I love it. The pattern is in a new book that just arrived at my house yesterday called Pretty in Patchwork Holidays. You can find this book at Amazon by clicking here.

This gift bag was fun to make and turned out so cute. I had a Jelly Roll from last year with the fabric Sparkle All the Way by Robert Kaufman fabrics. Since I needed 2 1/2" squares for the patchwork in this bag, it was perfect. I also had some yardage of this fabric line that is what I used for the lining. For the ties, I used two jelly roll strips. The book says this little reusable gift bag is practically another present in itself, I think so too.

There are lots of other cute patterns in this book and they're not all Christmas. Look at this very cute Harvest wall hanging called Home Squash Home. Love the prairie points on the bottom.
