Bindng

I spent some time yesterday getting bindings sewn on to several little quilts. Here they are all stacked up and ready for hand sewing. I have 6 small quilts in this stack and a super mini quilt (the little stocking quilt from Christmas in July).

Here's my quilts on the table before I folded them. The hand sewing on these babies should keep me busy for a while.

Let me show you my two favorite tools for binding: Fons & Porter Binding Tool and Clover Binding Clips. I was never that crazy about the clips that look like hair clips so I was happy to discover these little guys.

A happy stack of quilts waiting for the final touch. woohoo!!!

I've used the spring clips for years but I am in LOVE with my Wonder Clips, too.

Love the stack of handwork. I have one wall hanging that I've been working on the handsewing for I think a year almost. Just can't sit down and work on it. I can do it while watching TV in the evenings but staring at a computer all day and typing... my hands and eyes are just tired.

I too love those Wonder clips. i need to buy one more pack for myself.

I have some of those clips and they are really good! Strong grip!
I love getting to the binding stage on my quilts. It gives me an excuse to just sit and sew in front of the television!

I love having something to bind all the time and I feel out of sorts when I don't. You will be churning out some lovely finished projects in no time! I must look into those clips. I have heard so many wonderful things about them. Wonder if Santa will fill my stocking with them. :)

What a wonderful stack of quilts...you're going to have lots of fun on the couch! I always need something in my hands when I'm watching TV with Hubby. I LOVE the new clips and I've used the binding tool for years...takes the guesswork out!

Too bad we aren't neighbors...we could sit and bind. I have a HUGE stack of customer quilts waiting for their bindings!!! Pretty pile there, and I love that stocking.

Your are going to be soooooo ready for Christmas, long before the rest of put the turkey in the oven. I like the little red clips also, had preferred using pins to the hair clips looking things, but love the new one. Besides they are red.

Love those binding clips! Your hands should be busy for awhile with sewing those bindings.
