Christmas Through The Year - 2013

Hi Blog Friends, so nice to have you visiting. A few days ago Cheryl and Darlene both advised us that after this year of hosting Christmas Through The Year they would be stepping down to do other stuff. I let them know if they had no objection I would like to be the hostess for 2013. They both thought it was a great idea. Starting in January I will be the "Christmas Carol". I plan to have monthly prizes which I will make. I hope you will consider doing Christmas Through The Year in 2013 with me. I made a new blog button, feel free to use it on your blog. Thanks so much Cheryl and Darlene for a great job of hosting in 2012.

I didn't actively take part in 2012, but boy those gals really did a super job and I did use some of the tutorials they so generously searched out and shared each month. I am cutting back on swaps next year, so I think I would really like to be part of this in 2013.

This is wonderful Carol. Love the name too! I'll get the button posted to my blog over the weekend and participate the months I can. I've got lots of finishes to show this last final month for this year.

How great! I was a slacker for 2012. Started off great but the middle - no sewing happened. Maybe I'll try again for 2013.

I am so happy that you are hosting this next year! Your blog is one of the first sites I check each morning to see what you and the "babies" are up to. I hope to be able to participate in the fun through the year. The holidays are not my favorite thing so maybe working on it a little each month will make it more fun.

I followed along vicariously this year, but I didn't pick up the blog trail until the summer. It was so much fun to read and see what everyone was making. They did a great job hosting and providing all those wonderful tutorials. I would love to add your blog button to my blog (www.jlgwyn.wordpress.com) and will aim to do what I can. Thanks for hosting and you do have the perfect name!

If possible I would love to join as well!! I love everything about Christmas and have been trying to do something similar myself this year. It will be good to have some accountability next year :) Will you be putting up a list of "rules" later on?

What a sweet idea! I haven't participated but have enjoyed following others progress each month. I'm working on some things now...or was...my mom broke her hip last week and the recovery is complicated. Not sure I can show pics of what I make till after Christmas or I'll mess up the surprise for some :-)
