I finally finished a baby quilt I've been making for my niece who had a baby boy in September. The pattern is by It's Sew Emma called Tumbling Blocks. I used several different fabric lines of car fabric for this little boy quilt. Buster is doing some quilt modeling today, he looks thrilled about it too, lol. My niece wanted the baby's name Beck on the quilt so I added the name with a blanket stitch.
I also quilted his name with the quilt stitches in about seven places, I did my best to adjust the photo so you can see the quilted name. When my niece gets this quilt, they can play find Beck's name. The backing is Minke my favorite thing to use for baby quilts, makes it soft and cozy. I threw this quilt in the wash today for some crinkled up cuteness, made it soft too.
Oh, would you like to see a picture of the baby? This is baby Beck in a Christmas box taken on Christmas Eve.
Here's the baby as a newborn with his big brother Liam.

Adorable quilt for a sweet baby.
Love the 'b-e-c-k' blocks in the quilt. You did a wonderful job on this one, Carol. Beck (and Liam) are adorable too.
