First Project Completed in 2013

Hello and Happy New Year. I made some placemats for a gift for my niece and I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. I just did a simple design with charm squares of Reunion fabric and line quilting. I think my niece will like them. My dog Buster is helping me out with my photo, he looks so cute. Afterward I gave him that bone.

Here's another picture of all four placemats.

I didn't have enough Reunion fabric for the backing so I used California Girl fabric, matches pretty well I think. I used two different prints because I only had a half yard of each but I think it's fine.

P.S. - For some reason my blog is not showing as updated on blog lists, don't know what the deal with that is, I've tried everything I can think of to fix it.

We were able to love and kiss on her until she passed into eternity..my precious son, who passed away Oct. 27, was there to meet her, I'm sure. I have not seen your posts for awhile on blogger and today there are about 6 that show up though I can actually access only 2 of them. The one from yesterday and one from Dec 10th.
